Introduction
Koorie Krismas returns to Fed Square as a vibrant, family-friendly celebration hosted by the Koorie Heritage Trust. Culture, creativity and festive cheer come together in Main Square, with Koorie Klaus back to spread the joy.
Event Overview
Across one big day, Koorie Krismas combines live music, dance, DJ sets, storytelling and a bustling market of First Peoples artists and makers. Families can enjoy free creative activities for kids, visits from Koorie Klaus and a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates First Peoples talent and community.
Koorie Krismas is presented by Koorie Heritage Trust and supported by Fed Square and the City of Melbourne.
Koorie Krismas Market

Discover a curated lineup of First Peoples artists and makers, with more than 30 stalls offering fashion, jewellery, artworks, textiles, homewares and more. It’s an ideal way to find unique gifts while directly supporting First Peoples creatives this Krismas.
Main Stage Program

The Main Stage showcases First Peoples talent with live music, DJ sets, dance and storytelling. The program features artists including Charlie Needs Braces, The Deans of Soul, The Violet Summers, Isabelle Skye, Sascha Astrid and Barry Gilson, with more performers to be announced.
Family Activities & Koorie Klaus
Keep kids busy with free creative activities such as making Krismas decorations, badges, paper trees and more, plus sporting activities in the square. Don’t miss a special appearance by Koorie Klaus, with one of his elves capturing Polaroid family photos to remember the day.
